    Momentum Rewards
Your Visa account information is accessible through the MemberConnect audio response system and the eAccess.
Your Visa account is now listed on our computer system as a loan. This means that you can access account history, balance information and transfer payments on your Visa account using the telephone or your PC – 24 hours a day! (See Using the MemberConnect System to Obtain Visa Account Information for instructions.)

Payments can be made directly to the credit union.
We are now able to accept your Visa payments by mail (Community Financial Credit Union, Attn: Payment Processing, PO Box 1217, Springfield MO 65801-1217) or in person when you visit our offices. Transfer payments can also be made using the MemberConnect and Online Branch systems.

Automatic transfers from your CFCU savings or checking account can also be set up.
Auto transfer of payments is now available. What could be easier than setting up a transfer from your savings or checking account which automatically makes your Visa payment? Several auto-transfer options are available: 1) Have the minimum payment transferred each month, 2) Request a fixed amount to be transferred (if the minimum due is greater than this fixed amount, the minimum due would be transferred to keep the account current), 3) Pay off the balance each month.

Statements are processed at the end of each month and payments are due the 25th of each month. You will know when to expect your statements and when your payment is due each month so it will be easier to plan your budget.

For Members Traveling Out-of-Town or Abroad
From time to time, we may block transactions from a specific region or country due to fraudulent activities. If you plan on traveling, please contact our VISA Department with your travel dates and destinations. Or you may call us at 417.862.0471 or toll-free at 1-888.430.7199. We’ll be sure your cards are flagged and cleared for travel.

Your purchase of debt protection is optional. Whether or not you purchase this product will not affect your application for credit or the terms of any existing credit agreement you have with us.

Additional disclosures
We will give you additional information before you are required to pay for debt protection. This information will include a copy of the contract containing the terms and conditions of debt protection.

Eligibility requirements, conditions, and exclusions
There are eligibility requirements, conditions and exclusions that could prevent you from receiving debt protection benefits. You should carefully read your debt protection contract for a full explanation of the terms and conditions of the debt protection program.


GAP
Advantage

GAP (guaranteed asset protection) Advantage covers the difference between what a consumer owes a lender and what an auto insurer will pay if a car is totaled or stolen. GAP Advantage now includes an additional benefit of up to $1,000 towards the CFCU financing of your replacement vehicle.

Auto Deductible Reimbursement

  • Pays up to $500 per loss (limit of two losses per year) when claim is filed and paid with primary insurance carrier.
  • Loss means an event for which the auto insurance company has approved & paid a claim which exceeds the Covered Auto Deductible for a collision or comprehensive claim.
  • Coverage is effective upon date of enrollment and will continue for three (3) years.

If You suffer a loss during the Coverage Period which is covered by Your Auto Policy, You may be entitled to reimbursement of the Covered Auto Deductible. Reimbursement will be equal to the Covered Auto Deductible on the Auto Policy, up to $500 per Loss.

The Auto Deductible Reimbursement Does Not Cover The Following:

  • If the claim under the Auto Policy has been denied.
  • If the auto insurance company has waived the Covered Auto Deductible.
  • If the claim on the Auto Policy does not exceed the Covered Auto Deductible.
  • If the vehicle is used for commercial purposes or hire.
  • If the vehicle is a commercial vehicle as defined by the manufacturer.
  • Resulting from any kind of dishonest, fraudulent or criminal act, or illegal activity by You.

How to file a claim:

Call the Claims Administrator at 1-800-711-4280 to request a claim form. You must report the claim within ninety (90) days of the Loss or as soon as reasonably possible. The following required items, must be sent to the Administrator at AssurancePlus Claims and be postmarked within one-hundred and eighty (180) days of Loss or as soon as reasonably possible:

  • A fully completed claim form.
  • A copy of the Auto Policy, showing the vehicle is insured.
  • A copy of the Auto Policy claim from the auto insurance company showing payment for the Loss, with the amount paid and the Covered Auto Deductible of the Auto Policy.
  • Any other documents that the Administrator may reasonably request to validate a claim.

AutoPay
Program


Looking for an easier way to make your loan payments but your employer doesn't offer payroll deduction or direct deposit to the credit union? Your credit union offers a great service called AutoPay - where we transfer your loan payments from your account each month. No worry. No hassle. AutoPay is easy to set up.Simply complete the AutoPay Request Form and we'll take it from there. On the first business day of each month we will transfer funds from your specified credit union share account to make your credit union loan payments. (All you have to do each month is make sure that the funds are available in the specified account on the day the funds are to be transferred.)

  • AutoPay is automatic. So you don't have to worry about late or lost payments.
  • AutoPay is free as long as funds are available for us to transfer from the specified account. You also save time and money on postage, check writing, and trips to the credit union.
  • Keeping track of your payments is easy with AutoPay. Your regular credit union account statement will provide you a record of the transfers and payments.
  • AutoPay is great for members who do not have payroll deduction available to them.

CARFAX
Program

If you’re looking for a preowned vehicle, consider obtaining a Carfax vehicle history report once you select the car you want. Carfax reports can show whether the car’s odometer has been rolled back, if the vehicle has been in a major accident, has been salvaged or had flood damage, and where it has been titled.
